It’s all about the moody and the gothic with some of Spring’s new launches.
Paco Rabanne’s Black XS L’Exces is so rock-chic with its tiny skull charm and garnet coloured bottle. It’s a sensual fragrance with neroli and black pepper and is a very distinctive perfume with definite oriental floral overtones to it. One of my current faves.
Givenchy’s Mister Radiant may come in a sleek, shiny black box but its heart is all about radiant light. The weightless formula glides on to give skin a fresh glow while the tiny gold particles burst to release a shimmery tint to warm the complexion. It’s my new tinted moisturiser.
Discovered last night at the CEW product testing evening – and something I am most excited about – is Ilah’s Mineral Brows. This is a semi-permanent eyebrow make-up which comes in different shades – mine is Disco Diva. You apply with a brush over the hairline, just like an eyebrow pencil or wax, except the more you blend it in, the longer it will stay on. Love this!
Lastly, in my all-dark round-up is Rodial’s Glamoxy Snake Mask. The jet black formula may frighten the kids but it satisfyingly peels off after 15 minutes to reveal deeply cleansed skin and clear pores. Fright night goes pop!
