Great classic and new British beauty

Continuing my Christmas Countdown and you know that you can’t beat a little Liz Earle package under the tree!

There are so many goodies to choose from from this fantastic British brand, but my recommendations would be from the following cult products:

The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, £26.25 (starter kit), is such a treat as a gift. Once they start using this they’ll be converted for life. Skin is left wonderfully clean, soft and clear and with a radiance you just don’t get with other cleansers.

Follow up with a swipe of the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic, £13.25. It leaves skin zingy fresh with its cocktail of natural ingredients such as aloe vera, calendula, cucumber, rose, geranium and natural Vitamin E. A little tonic in a bottle to show that you care!

Prime skin with the Smoothing Line Serum, £14.75, which visibly firms and smooths away fine lines. A must-have.

Restore moisture with the Superskin Moisturiser, £36.25, which keeps the complexion plumped up and radiant and which feels so luxurious as a gift.

Slightly cheating as it is not available in time for Christmas – but I couldn’t write about Liz Earle without mentioning this – is the brand’s new launch, which will be available from March 2014.

Order yours now as it is one of the most wonderful collections of recent times. The new aromatic Bath & Body Collection has been crafted in collaboration with master perfumers from the finest botanicals and most divine fragrances sourced from different areas of the world.

The three collections each contain a Creamy Shower Nectar, a Melting Sugar Scrub, a Silky Body Lotion and Body Butter.

My favourite was the Tiare & Jasmine range – a heady floral jasmine scent that comes straight out of the Polynesian tropics, and which was devised by Olivier Cresp. The Shower Nectar is so called because it is so much more than a bog-standard shower gel. It glides on skin and foams to cleanse and moisturise with a reviving fragrance that sets the day off perfectly. The Body Lotion, meanwhile is wonderfully light yet works deep down to hydrated with shea butter, avocado oil and Vitamin E.

Other scents to choose from are Bergamot & Ginger, sourced from Italy, and Vanilla & Saffron from Madagascar. Both beautiful, too. Put it on your Spring wish list!
