I Art Dad: make him a masterpiece

With Father’s Day on the horizon, I’m struggling with what to buy for my most important men in my life (Dad and husband courtesy of my two boys). Having just come across Photobox‘s fab range of personalised pressie ideas – I think I’ve solved this (very First World) problem just in time to get items ordered and delivered for 21 June. 0E4880FE-45FB-438D-98F4-4E998849E349 33E9D951-F4B4-4730-8829-0C44AB421886 057F03AF-75FF-4FA9-919E-9B7B7F48C873 850462A7-DFB2-4182-8721-D868EB2C59EC A2039F93-E552-475E-9A13-7513491E0D5D If you are stuck for ideas too, just look online at photobox.co.uk for a range of photo gift ideas – from personalised, quirky mugs to phone cases, clothing to retro polaroid prints (examples above). Ideal for turning his funniest (or most embarrassing) moments into a unique gift.

What’s more, to celebrate our Dads’ uniqueness, the website has been running a special competition over the past few weeks to turn the nations’ dad photos into masterpieces. Budding photographers have been uploading their ‘winning’ photos of Dads, Grandads and Father Figures to the website – in short all those images of the men that are important in our lives. The chosen winners have now been picked and the grand prize – which money cannot buy –  was that the winning photos were proudly displayed last night (10 June) at a private one-night event in the National Portrait Gallery (see pics below).
