When Beauty meets Fate: Amouage

IMG_9468Renowned for its luxury, innovative fragrances, Amouage has just launched its uber-luxe ‘Fate’ Bath & Body Collection.

Included in the range from the premium label is a Hand Cream, £55, Bath & Shower Gel, £50, and Body Lotion, £60, all packaged in a regal-style, refined design.

As the prices indicate, these are no usual additions to your beauty routine – these are for those pampering, ‘me’ moments – beauty that makes you feel super-special. Raising the stakes from bog-standard body care to an elevated luxury treat, the range is scented with the Oriental Chypre fragrance, based around notes of bergamot, cinnamon, chilli and pepper. This rich burst develops to release a floral heart of rose, narcissus, jasmine, frankincense and labdanum that is further deepened with base notes of vanilla, patchouli, oakmoss and leather. It’s a sensory dream – complex, feminine and very unusual.

Formulated by renowned French experts, the range is perfumed with the highest concentration of fragrance possible, and are designed to harmoniously layer and nourish the skin – the most effective way, in fact, to wear perfume.

Ideal for keeping hands soft and smooth is the Hand Cream, which contains glycerin, shea butter, aloe vera, almond oil and silicone. It sinks straight into skin, with no greasy residue, and giving visible results.

The Body Lotion, also containing the same nourishing ingredients, gives skin a protective layer, making limbs silky and radiant. It’s ideal for summer days and nights out and leaves skin with a lovely lustre.

The Bath and Shower Gel, meanwhile, is a totally indulgent treat. Thick and rich in texture, it drenches the skin in a light foam. It leaves the body clean and soft and subtly perfumed. Gorgeous.
