As well as refreshing hair in between washes, Moroccanoil’s new Dry Shampoo, £14.85, has added colour to enrich your hair tone. Available in Dark or Light Tones, spritz it on to also add texture and remove build-up.

It contains ultra-fine, oil-absorbing rice starch that cleans hair as well as a UV-protecting, argan oil-infused formula.

Developed to refresh tired, lack-lustre locks between washes, Moroccanoil’s Dry Shampoo for Dark Tones is ideal for post-workout, travelling or transforming your style before a night out. It maintains vibrant brunette tones while the Light version contains subtle violet undertones to balance brassiness in blonde hair and bring out the best in lighter hair colours. A go-to product for bouncy, glossy hair.

Danish beauty brand Urtekram, known for its organic products, has now caught the coconut craze with its latest range of goodies infused with organic virgin coconut oil and organic coconut nectar. As well as the Shampoo and Conditioner, the Body Lotion and Shower Gel are the perfect duo for bringing to mind the tropics, even if  you are not holidaying there.

The Shower Gel, £6.99, has an uplifting scent straight from the South Seas – it’s sourced from palm trees in the region. It cleans and nourishes the skin and has a lovely rich texture. Slather on the Body Lotion, £6.50, afterwards so limbs are hydrated, soft and smooth. Its the perfect post-beach remedy for sun-drenched skin.

I’ll also be packing a tub of Egyptian Magic, £22.83, the cult, all-rounder cream to counteract any beauty fails or first-aid dilemmas, while on the go.

The all-purpose, natural cream is one of those multi-taskers which will become your new best friend. From dealing with hair frizz to hydrating dry patches of skin, it also can be used as a lip balm, make-up primer and moisturiser.

Don’t be put off by the initial hard texture – you simply take a small amount and rub it into hands to warm it up then gently apply to your face or body. If you are applying to hair warm it up and then gently rub it into the ends of your hair. You can also use it as a hair mask. Comb it through, and let it sit for 30 minutes then wash it out with shampoo. Dab it on your face to highlight your cheekbones to give you a natural glow, or apply under your eyes to help with the delicate dehydrated skin in that area.

As well as a beauty aid, it also helps to heal scars, burns, rashes, insect bites and bruises. Made of honey, beeswax, olive oil, royal jelly, bee pollen and bee propolis – the Middle Eastern formula dates back to ancient times and doesn’t contain any nasties. It’s a real gem.

Finally, you can’t travel without a decent deodorant. Pack one of Dove‘s new Soft Feel Deodorants for long-lasting protection that is kind to the skin.

The antiperspirant range features a fine powder-like fragrance, which has been conceived by global fragrance house, Givaudan. Combined with the signature Dove ¼ moisturising cream, it means that underarm skin is left soft, smooth and lightly fragranced..

The powdery scent has notes of feminine florals with hints of creamy musk and amber. Spray or roll on and the formula then instantly dries on application, leaving skin feeling nourished and fresh. A travel must.
