Let me loose in a stationery shop and I’m like a kid in a candy store… so, it’s no surprise that one of my favourite high street haunts is Kikki K.
Bucking the trend of everything online and digital, Kikki K was conceived by Swedish-born Kristina Karlsson. Wanting to create a stylish work-space, she realised that there was a gap in the market for desk items that were practical yet beautiful, too. From notebooks to diaries, homewares to paper products, she is also inspired by the positive – with many products being adorned with inspirational messages and slogans.
As a writer, I’m of the ‘old school’ and still use notebook and pen and, yes, even a paper diary. This baby-blue, leather notebook, £30, is perfect for my note-taking, especially when out and about.
Made from leather and featuring a stud button closure, it’s a practical little addition to my work life. It can also be refilled and customised, making for the ideal Christmas present… if you can bear to part from it, that is!
