This little gem is my new winter ‘go-to’ – my morning saviour – to drench skin in moisture and keep it in tip-top condition when the temperatures fall. Cocoa butter is generally used in a cream formula but this Wonder Oil from Dr Organic, £11.99, is ideal for skin that is looking a little dry or feels flaky, which mine tends to do during the winter months.
After showering, simply smooth it over limbs and body – a little goes a long way and it gives a super speedy application – perfect for those mornings in a rush. It sinks in like a dream and doesn’t leave any sticky, icky patches. It gives skin a lovely lustre and a subtle scent, with its coconut, sweet almond and rosehip fruit ingredients.
It’s also a great little multi-tasker and can also be used to condition the face and hair. Add a tiny amount to your moisturiser for long-term hydration and/or use as a conditioning treatment on your locks – comb it through and leave it on for 15 minutes before washing for the most effective way to achieve shiny hair.
Dr Organic has sourced its cocoa butter from the rural plains of the Dominican Republic, where it has traditionally been used to keep skin supple and smooth for centuries and now it has been reinvented for a modern-day audience.

Meanwhile, this ApiRefine Lip Oil from Manuka Doctor, £16.99, gives the comfort of a lip balm with the soft, shine of a gloss. Not only does it intensely moisturise lips – so that they look full and plump – but it protects them from the elements, too.
The glass bottle has a little roller-ball vial which releases the oil across the lips – just shake and roll. It’s fragranced with a fruity scent and is packed with Manuka Oil and Floral Nectar, and is rich in vitamin E, omega-3 and omega-6 – ideal to keep lips eminently kissable.
