I’m loving my latest hair-care find and its ethos… perfect for glossy, lush hair with depth and longevity. Grow Gorgeous is not about offering temporary fixes, but instead the various ranges have formulas which aim to boost hair and scalp health from within. As a consequence, the brand doesn’t use potentially damaging parabens or phthalates, and, instead, its products are loaded with some of the industry’s latest ingredients, including Biotin and Caffeine.
The new range, which has just launched, is the R&R Rescue and Repair collection, from £15. It works by coating hair fibres so locks are strengthened, hydrated and repaired and is perfect for heat damaged hair or tresses that have gone through the mill after days in the sun, on the beach or at sea.
Perfect for getting hair into tip-top condition again is the Shampoo and Conditioner combo, which contain Sea Satin, which helps to strengthen hair weakened by chemical processes and heat styling, Bamboo Extract, which is a natural source of silica and helps to strengthen hair fibres and a powerful blend of amino acids, which work to repair surface damage of the hair.
What’s more, the shampoo is 80% natural and the conditioner 89% – making this range one that’s packed with natural but effective ingredients and kind to the hair. Not only are tresses left full of life but they are also gently scented.
Great for weekends away or mini trips, as well as full-size products, the ranges come in small versions, perfect for travelling. Start with the Rescue & Repair Shampoo – it goes on with a non-foaming formula, which feels lightweight, yet you still feel that it deeply cleans and fortifies. Botanical ingredients leave hair feeling resilient and healthy. Vitamins B and E are combined with Cupuassu Butter to nourish and protect hair that has been damaged by bleaching and excessive heat styling. Breakage-prone locks are regenerated with restored vitality. It’s ideal for those of us who are addicted to tongs and straighteners – putting the wrongs, right again!
The second step is the Rescue & Repair Conditioner, whichrevives damaged locks with an ultra-moisturising formula. Ingredients include Murumuru and Cupuassu Butters, Sea Satin and silica-rich Bamboo Extract with Vitamin B, E, and Keratrix (a restorative natural active that works to improve elasticity in weakened tresses). Rinse off and dry to find hair is glossy, healthy with a natural bounce.
As an extra boost, I have also been using the Back Into The Roots Scalp Masque, £24. Giving an extra va va voom lift to hair, it is a 10-minute miracle-worker which puts life back into your roots, stimulating and encouraging growth, so the result is a head of life full of volume. Infused with burdock root, Hyaluronic Acid, vitamins and caffeine, the masque stimulates with the cooling sensation of menthol while gently lifting the hair to create a fuller and thicker appearance.
