Sanctuary Spa‘s new skincare collection is full of genius products that make caring for your skin a joy.
In fact, they are so good that I’ve rejuvenated my usual daily routine, as I am so inspired by the products, which feature new gen formulas and textures that make the mundane tasks of cleaning and looking after skin a nice little moment or two of the day.
Firstly, one of my favourites is the Triple Cleansing Mousse, £12. I love a mousse product, so this was already on the way to being a winner, but even more so as this has a fluffy texture that is really pleasing to use. It cleanses without stripping the skin and also contains a trio of work-hard ingredients: there’s a micro-fine exfoliating powder, resurfacing AHA and gentle cleansing actives to power through everyday grime, pollution, oiliness, blocked pores, blemishes and make-up.
You apply it on to damp skin and the mousse gently transforms into creamy texture and you can feel the fine powder working. It also contains glycolic acid to deep clean pores, so skin is left sparkling clean, bright and smooth. It’s not a lightweight ineffectual cleanser – but rather one that works hard and preps skin so it is left in tip-top condition.
After cleansing, I’ve been using the hero serum – Hyaluronic Wonder Oil Serum, £19.50 – it works to plump the skin, leaving it smoother and softer. You shake to activate the formula – it’s made up of a serum and an oil phase – and it soaks immediately into the skin, instantly vanishing and leaving skin renewed.
With moringa, jojoba and pomegranate oils, to give hydration, skin is left plump and radiant. It also contains an anti-ageing blend of red rice bio-ferment cells to help rejuvenate and firm the skin. Best of all is that it leaves skin even, toned and glowing – with no greasy finish.
Next up is this Power Peptide Awakening Eye Serum, £16.49. This is such a life-saver after a night on the tiles. It lifts tired eyes, and plumps skin around the area. Dark circles are reduced while wrinkles and puffiness appear reduced.
Dab it gently on and tired eyes are soothed with hydrating hyaluronic acid and stimulating caffeine doing their ‘thang’. It has a silky texture, which feels lovely and luxe to use.
The last step in my daily routine is smoothing on this Supercharged Hyaluronic Face & Neck Creme, £16.50. This drenches the skin in moisture and is lovely and rich. It restores and repairs and skin appears firmer and more even.
It feels super refreshing, with shea butter and hyaluronic acid giving a nourishing blast of goodness and skin feels hydrated throughout the day. This is a great go-to for dull skin, or for skin which looks under par, you can also use it overnight and it seems to seep hydration into the complexion so it looks alive and fresh the morning after.
Also from Sanctuary’s range is this Nourishing Rose Petal Hydrogel Mask, £7.50, which you rest on the face for 15 minutes as a quick pick-me-up. This is so gorgeous to use, infused with rose petals and natural extracts, it soothes tired skin, and helps comfort and revive.
Use it as part of your ‘kit’ to reduce redness and help skin recover from exposure to the sun or pollution.
Above all, I have been loving this 1 Minute Daily Glow Mask, £14. Sometimes there is not enough time in a week to mess around with masks and fuss, so this is right up my street. It is a no-nonsense pre-shower treatment. Add a few drops of water, and it goes on to the skin easily with its gel-like texture. It contains radiance boosting kakadu plum, brightening vitamin C and nutrient-rich rosemary extract so it works to improve texture and add luminosity.
This really is a treat and easy to use a few times a week as a treatment but in the fraction of time that most masks take. Genius.
