This, my last post of 2018, is all about two little beauty gems that are perfect for pampering YOU this festive time.

Find a spare hour to soak in the bath and reflect on that the year that’s been, and while you do, you can rejuvenate your crowning glory with Kerastraight‘s genius hair masks.

Long days in the sun followed by the onset of winter and harsh winds and rain, can leave hair looking below par. The Protein Mask can solve all that. It is an advanced blend of hydrolysed wheat proteins, designed to repair and reconstruct your hair. It forms a protein ‘net’ which transforms fine, weak and damaged hair, leaving behind glossy hair, which is stronger and soft to touch.
if you have very dry or damaged hair – or indeed locks which could do with some TLC, the mask works to reconstruct using a blend of plant extracts and the wheat protein. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and, after drying, hair looks improved with a lovely, smooth texture.

The Protein Mask also uses Moringa Leaf in the formula, which helps to lock in moisture, keeping hair hydrated and healthy for longer.

Kerastraight is a British company best known for its in-salon treatments: the award-winning KS Ultimate Treatment, whichrepairs and straightens hair at the same time. It’s like an advanced ‘Brazilian blow-dry’ except it doesn’t damage, but rather works to repair hair, leaving it smooth and straighter. The masks are the brand’s foray into at-home treatments so you can achieve similar looks in the comfort of your own bathroom.

The Moisture Mask, on the other hand, drenches locks with hydration due to its concentrated ingredients of Palmeira Tucuma and Carob Bean Extract. Rich in nutrients, the mask repairs and re-hydrates dry and damaged hair, leaving it feeling renewed with shine and bounce and eliminating frizz.

Counting Trevor Sorbie as a brand ambassador – thus giving his seal of approval – they are guaranteed to give you a good hair day.

Next is my second at-home treatment, which is also from another professional, salon company: Nouveau Lashes Rejuvenating Eye Cream & Mask. The company is renowned for its pioneering work offering semi-permanent individual eye-lash extensions and the revolutionary LVL, lash lifting, volumising and lengthening treatments.

The company was co-founded by two of the UK’s leading permanent cosmetics artists, Bridgette Softley and Karen Betts, whose first passion is helping people living with hair and lash loss conditions. Bridging the gap between medical aesthetics and beauty, they created training academies for professionals to practice micro-pigmentation mimicking the illusion of eye-brows, before launching Nouveau Lashes to offer state-of-the-art eye-lash enhancements.

This little gem is a multi-purpose treatment, designed specifically for the eye area, lashes and brows. Much like you would use a restorative conditioner or mask on damaged hair, this new replenishing cream is the perfect aftercare solution for over-treated lashes that are in need of a little TLC after excessive makeup use or wearing of strip lashes.
I’ve also found that it peps up the eye area after a late night, doing away with saggy skin and smoothing away lines and creases. It’s a little gem.
