It’s cold, it’s dreary and it’s grey. But bringing a shot of sunshine – for your skin, at least – is award-winning Spanish skincare brand, SESDERMA, which has just launched in the UK.
Created by renowned dermatologist Dr Gabriel Serrano 30 years ago, the line was derived from the first lab in Spain to use glycolic acid in its formulations – winning their products the reputation of being the ‘Latino Facelift’.
Used by A-listers, such as supermodel Bar Refaeli, the brand’s best-selling C-VIT collection has at its heart the latest generation of Vitamin C, encapsulated in liposomes (lipid bubbles) to offer a high level of skin penetration, speed and effectiveness. In other words, it’s a potent anti-oxidising cocktail which combats skin ageing and leaves you looking radiant.
One of its hero products, Sesderma’s C-VIT Radiance Glowing Fluid, £52.80, has been formulated for the treatment and prevention of tired, dull and lacklustre skin.
This works like a little shot of sunshine in a bottle – with a host of radiance-enhancing properties. The moisturising fluid gives an instant boost, improving skin luminosity and creating a healthy appearance. It also improves skin texture and elasticity, helping to minimise wrinkles and fine lines. I’ve been using this as my last step in my skin prep routine – it has a lovely silky texture and sinks in to leave your complexion glowing and radiant.
The C-VIT Liposomal Serum, £49.20, meanwhile, will quickly ‘turn’ your skin around if it’s looking ‘under the weather’. The intensive treatment for the skin aims to prevent photo-ageing caused by exposure to the sun, tobacco, poor diet and lack of sleep. It contains concentrated active ingredients to enhance anti-ageing and de-pigmentation.
