Clean and green: Soaper Duper cleans up

by angelinavc

Put a bounce in your step by starting your day with Soaper Duper’s Pure Happiness Body Wash. Not only is the bottle made from recycled plastic, and its bubble shape was designed by industrial designer Ross Lovegrove, but also the formula contains no nasties – just a cocktail of natural ingredients, that are good for the skin and the soul.

Best of all it smells divine, as it contains hydrating aloe vera juice, coconut water, passion fruit acids and shea butter. These all work together to clean and leave skin smooth and hydrated. I’ve been using the pump-action bottle in the shower every morning. It has a luxury feel with a heady scent that gently lingers on your body through the day.

I’ve also been using the Shea Butter Hand Cream, which uses pure shea butter, macadamia oil, Monoi de Tahiti, vitamin E and vanilla pods. Not only does it smell like you’ve just arrived in French Polynesia – you get lovely wafts of the scent every time you lift your hands – but it also deeply moisturises hands and nails so they look smooth and soft. This has been my go-to for a little treat to pep up hands and I’ve been using it on the go, with one in my handbag, ready for action. It has a wonderfully uplifting effect.

The Pure Peppermint Foot Cream, meanwhile, has peppermint and sweet almond oil, exfoliating fruit acids and shea butter to make a concoction that banishes hard, dry skin on the feet, to reveal soft soles.

As well as its green ethos, when it comes to packaging and ingredients, the brand also supports WaterAid to bring soap and water to communities who need it. It’s the ultimate in feel-good.
