These little gems that have ‘fallen’ onto my desk of late may not look the most glam, but their work ethic will make sure you’ll be including them in your beauty ‘must haves’.
First up is Cetraben’s Natural Oatmeal Cream, £8.99 – a new natural daily moisturiser. Ideal for sensitive skin or eczema-prove skin, this is as pure as it comes. It can be used on babies as well as adults – it is that kind to the skin.
For those who like their beauty unfussy, pure and gentle – this is the facial moisturiser to use. It won’t cause any breakouts but instead will calm and soothe skin. Formulated with naturally active oatmeal to soothe and protect dry and sensitive skin, it provides up to 24 hours of moisturise. From boots.com
Next is a new sun cream for the face from P20, £20. P20 Face is the brand’s first cream-formulated sun protection, it offers UVA and UVB protection for regular use.
Durable for up to 10 hours, it’s the perfect travel size for short hops away or for taking with you during hot summer days at home. It has a lightweight, cream texture and is perfect for wearing under make-up. Non-greasy, it sinks in quickly, with no fragrance – just apply over face, neck and décolletage – it makes for a great base after moisturising and pre-make-up. From boots.com
Next is the new Organic Coffee range from Dr Organic. The Shampoo and Conditioner duos, are infused with organic coffee, gurarana and chilli to put a kick in your step.
The stimulating hair care is enriched with these active and antioxidant-rich ingredients. Caffeine, for instance, helps to energise and protect the scalp from free radical damage. While chilli extract is rich in capsaican, which increase blood flow so can help encourage hair growth. The shampoo blends both ingredients to cleanse and help support breakage.
The shampoo gives a nice foam and hair feels boosted and clean. Follow up with the conditioner which conditions and revitalises. From hollandandbarrett.com
Also available in the range is this Anti-Dundruff Shampoo and Conditioner duo which has the additional benefits of nettle, olive oil and clary sage, ginger and rosemary. They’ll go straight to your head.
