Illuminating the skin is hard to get right. Too generous a daube and you look like you’ve had an overdose of radioactive chemicals, too little, and it just looks a little ‘blah’.

Available in three shimmering shades; Ice, Gold and Rose Gold (I’ve been trialling the gold version, shown here), they add a gentle glimmer to skin so that dull, tired-looking complexions are instantly illuminated. I’ve been dotting a tiny amount on a ‘finished’ face – and gently massaging in – go along the cheek bones, brow bone and bridge of nose (in other words where the sun would naturally hit. Gut they work equally well on a bare look for a sun-kissed gleam. As well as the affordable price, the brand is cruelty-free and do not test on animals. So it’s pure beauty all round.
