Next Sunday is Father’s Day. Why not keep your everyday hero in mind with one of the spoiling treats from Baylis & Harding‘s latest collection of pampering products?
The Fuzzy Duck Men’s Ginger & Lime Beard Kit, £12, comes in a lovely, functional tin – perfect to re-use afterwards to keep keys, cufflinks or loose change in. Inside is a Beard Shampoo, Soap, Beard Wax, Balm and moustache-shaped Comb, to keep facial hair clean, trim and tidy.
The five-piece gift set is a great little buy for Dads who take pride in their beards… and ideal to avoid any unruly hairy moments. The ginger and lime fragrance is fresh and uplifting, while the formulas feel luxe and indulgent.
Also from the UK brand’s Fuzzy Duck collection, inspired by the beauty company’s Fuzzy Duck boutique hotel in the Cotswolds, is the Authentic Whiskey Fragranced Shower Gel, £8. This large-size (500ml) bottle is shaped and amber-coloured, like a whiskey bottle, and contains an invigorating shower gel to deep clean and moisturise.
Douse it on in the shower or bath, and skin is left clean and glowing, with the uplifting scent filling the senses. A little goes a long way, so the large size will keep him going for a while.
For those after a classic buy, you can’t go wrong with the Black Pepper & Ginseng Grooming Duo, £7. The Body Wash is ideal to keep at home, while the Shower Gel is perfect for the gym or travel (when the time is right for us to do that again, that is!)
The packaging is sleek and sophisticated, with a black and gold aesthetic giving a universal appeal. Black pepper and ginseng is dark and evocative as a fragrance, and will linger on the limbs all day.
Lastly, the Fuzzy Duck Men’s Ginger & Lime Cosy Slipper Set, £30, has my Dad’s name all over it. I love the luxury-feel faux-suede slippers – perfect for padding around in lock-down and for cosy nights in. The styling of the Fuzzy Duck range of products fuses a Victoriana sensibility with a touch of trad-English feel, which will appeal to old and young alike.
