Giving an edgy feel, tons of colour and practical know-how to your make-up look is the latest launch from the cutting-edge label – the Main Event Collection x Mmmmitchell and Daisy Maskell.

Included in the limited edition, mini line-up is a luxe make-up brush set, an eye-popping palette of every conceivable colour you’d ever need and hit-making lippies of totally wearable colours. The collaborators? Mmmmitchell is a UK-based makeup artist, and social media star, renowned for his glam looks and over-the-top style. DJ Daisy Maskell is host of KISS FM’s Breakfast Show, and started her career working behind-the-scenes at events like London Fashion week and is now making waves as a TV presenter and radio personality. Both bring a touch of flair and fashion-forward thinking to the products.

First up, is the Limited Edition 24M Main Event Artistry Palette, £29, which offers 24 shades in a range of finishes – matte, shimmer and silk. The shades range from edgy to earthy, glitters to shimmers and offer something for everyone and every occasion. From nudes to bronzes, bold hues to barely-there shimmers. Great for a glam, everyday look, for instance, is the champagne, bronze glitter, taupe and hazelnut – easy to dip into and ramp up if you need to. Then there’s the fuchsia glitter and matte raspberry for a totally bold eye, while turmeric and midnight blue are strictly for after-hours. Also in the palette are five water-activated eye-liners, found on the bottom row, which can be easily applied with a wet brush, to finish your look.

Talking about brushes, the Bring The Beat By Mmmmitchell Brush Collection, £29, is made up of six different but essential make-up brushes for blending, buffing and perfecting.

All contained in a cute belt bag, the Silicone Glitter Packer Brush is the perfect mess-free glitter applicator – a silicone brush that gets sparkle right where you want it (and nowhere else). The Firm Shadow Brush means you can accurately apply amazing colour on your eyelids. While the Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush offers advanced blending for a flawless look. The Crease Precision Blender Brush, on the other hand, is a tapered, defined crease brush, meaning you can combine colours with ease and the Blunt Smudger Brush is just the thing for precise colour application along the lash line. Lastly, the Bent Liner Brush has an angled tip that’s perfect for water-activated liner.

Finally, the Lip Hits Lip Crayon Trio, £19, is a three-strong collection of deeply pigmented, long-wearing lip crayons, that glide on smooth and creamy. The wearable colours are guaranteed to be used on a daily basis.

The range includes ASAP, a rich wine shade; TLC, a rose nude and NSFW, a ballet slipper pink – giving a gorgeous kissable look. Who says edgy can’t be appealing to all?
