How gorgeous is the new Royale Garden range from Baylis & Harding? These are the perfect way to show your appreciation on today’s International Women’s Day or, indeed, on next Sunday’s Mother’s Day.
The special edition collection is perfect for capturing the magical sense of spring awakening all wrapped up with the best that nature offers – not to mention, of course, a fine way to celebrate the important women in our lives.

Needless to say that they look good bu, unwrap them, and they also smell divine, with the perfume releasing even more as you use them. With natural ingredients and emollients, these are not drying but are kind to the skin, leaving it clean and silky smooth.
The Luxury Wash Bag (£18, next.co.uk), meanwhile, is filled with goodies from the Verbena & Chamomile range. The gorgeous zipped clutch has a darker, more sophisticated floral look, and contains four mini-essentials – Shampoo, Conditioner, Shower Crème and Body Lotion.
I love what I am calling the ‘midnight-floral’ theme of this collection – the dark green bottles, and William Morris-style illustrations matched with the sensuous scent of wild verbena and chamomile. It’s like taking a trip to a sun-drenched meadow at the turn of the last century. Not only do they smell uplifting, but the formulas are softly pampering, with skin hydrated and hair left shiny and smooth.
They have a decadent, Victoriana feel – almost like they are from an apothecary shop. Perfect for travelling or for nights away – yes, these are just around the corner again now! – it’s just a lovely gift.
