After a whirlwind few days, my last day dawns at the incredible @joalibeing in the Maldives. This is the only dedicated wellness resort in the region. You enter through the ‘Gate of Zero’ to find a beautifully designed resort based on biophilic principles. Nature is at the heart of everything and everything - from the colour palette to the sound therapy path has been deeply considered. During your personalised wellness journey you can dip into a huge range of therapies and fitness practises - from traditional Chinese medicine to Ayurveda; reformer Pilates to sunrise yoga. You can do as much or as little as you want. Meals are all nutritionally-wise (but always delicious) and the resort has collaborated with incredible names from the art, design and culinary worlds. A cast of ten characters, a moving train, glam guests and a decadent meal… what could go wrong?? What a treat to be invited on the iconic @belmondbritishpullman yesterday to experience the new immersive Murder Mystery experience bought to life by @privatedramaevents It was such FUN! As the famous train chugged along the Kent coast, and back to London, the drama - Dead on Time- unfolded through the stories of ten brilliant characters. Dressed in rainbow-hued costumes, they revealed clues and red herrings through the day. The attention to detail was exquisite - from the retro 50s magazine packed with clues - to the fine-dining experience (served on beautiful @williamedwardsbonechina - WANT!) The day was set in the 1950s, a nod to the heyday of the heritage train perhaps. I was sat in the restored Cygnus carriage, Seat 10, which was recently re-imagined by #wesanderson A five-course meal, champagne and chatter - it was a thrilling whodunnit bought to life, as the British countryside rolled past the windows (As a teen, I think I devoured all of Agatha Christie’s books - so this was right up my street!). So who ‘committed murder’?
