After a whirlwind few days, my last day dawns at the incredible @joalibeing in the Maldives. This is the only dedicated wellness resort in the region. You enter through the ‘Gate of Zero’ to find a beautifully designed resort based on biophilic principles. Nature is at the heart of everything and everything - from the colour palette to the sound therapy path has been deeply considered. During your personalised wellness journey you can dip into a huge range of therapies and fitness practises - from traditional Chinese medicine to Ayurveda; reformer Pilates to sunrise yoga. You can do as much or as little as you want. Meals are all nutritionally-wise (but always delicious) and the resort has collaborated with incredible names from the art, design and culinary worlds.
